I was just bedding this rifle in 300Wmag. I really like the looks and feel for a factory rifle. Not near as bulky as their normal 375s. Would there be any reason that the barrel couldn't be swapped to 375 H&H? Change the box, ejector, add a front sight and base mounted peep for back up. Would be a nice carry size and weight 375. Am I missing something? As usual just my $.02 Paul K

Conversion is easy for a smith to do. But beware, they sure can kick! My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

I happen to like the barrel contour of the new M70 Classics in 375 HH and at 24" the rifle with a factory plastic stock did not seem too heavy. If I got a third 375 it would be a SS M70 Classic and I would have to get up to date on what stocks WW has today as they finally may have one thats worth keeping. I don't have much hope for this however. So if the stock was junk as I expect I would put on a cored stock like the Bansner and that will cut the weight good. If Kimber came out with the 375 in the long 8400 Montana that might be an option for you. Join the NRA
