Can anyone recommend some replacement sights for the Ruger #1-H tropical? The rear sights that come with these are just plain bad. I would love a three leaf rear sight or express sights.

New England Custome Guns, and Brownells..Order a sight file at the same time so you can fit them up....Good idea BTW....While you at Brownells get the Ruger front sight with the Ivory 3/32 bead....

I went with the NECG peep sights for my #1. I looked the express sights but I hadn't decided on a load yet and was wanting to play around some so they made more sense. The sights that come on the #1 are awful. When I first took it to the range we coul only get it to hit on the bottom of the target at 50 yards. That was with three people shooting it with handloads and factory loads. Ruger even sent me some a new rear sights and a new higher front sight, much to their credit. I haven't tried any of them out yet. Good luck
