I am half-kidding, as the logistics would probably kill us, but wouldn't it be a hoot to get a group buy of 25 or so of these guns going? Tell EAA that "Saeed sent us."
:-D

I'm in, as long as I get one, I don't care where it comes from. Hell, I might even sell my 71' Bronco to insure the delivery. www.idahobronco.alloffroad.com
If I did that, then maybe I could get a pair of 45-70's and a pair of 30-06's. I wish they would chamber for 7x57. Now that's not a bad Idea, anyone want to buy a Moab Ready Brono?

As much as I'd like one, it is not in this year's budget. But I have hooked up with a good dealer in Weatherford who is a fellow Witness fan. He said he would be willing to put together a group purchase from EAA, assuming the order were big enough. It seems that EAA is hell to work with unless you are one of their main jobbers.

He initially quoted me cost plus 15%, plus any shipping or other expenses, if i wanted to put something together. It could also include other EAA items, although he is not interested in doing little things like magazines and such. This could cover the CZ clone group, as well as the saiga fans. This conversation initially arose concerning 10mm witness pistols.

If anyone is serious, let me know and I will talk it up, or at least put you in touch with him. If you are in North Texas, he would be happy to work with you personally, out of state might get a little bit hairy.

guys,
I am in this for a 45/70.. and would help broker the deal.. Jana says I can have one.. and the jeffe-ry is all i really need for a fightn rifle.

so, what's the story? I can talk to a couple CZ folks in the next week or 2.... it'll have to be the same caliber to get a discount (already tried on rifles).. 45/70?

If you can work a discount or something that would probably be better. His offer was 15% over his cost. That is not great, but not shabby either. He is in Weatherford. I mentioned it because I was kicking the idea around with some witness fans, and it seems like a natural fit.

If I can help anyone, I'll certainly put people in touch. I'm broke myself, though.

I'm very interested in one in .45-70, but I'll be moving during the spring and because of that, cash flow might be an issue until summer.

I wonder what the possibility of Boyd's doing decent stock replacements would be (EAA wood tends to be butt ugly)?

What would be the logistics of getting one to Australia ?? If I could muster up the cash.

Are these little doubles made by CZ ??

Here is a link to the gun specs and picture

I'm trying to sell my 71' Bronco so I can get a few. If not, I'll definately get one in 45-70. I'm presently a starving college student, but if I can trade one toy for another and still keep the family fed then why not.

I have an FFL, so I'll just look into getting my own. Thanks for the post. I didn't know about this gun.
