I did a search of old threads on reduced .585 Nyati, but couldn't find what I'm after. I recently finished one on a CZ 550 and it's shooting very well with AA4350 and a 750 grain Woodleigh. Cycles and extracts beautifully. To date I've loaded them between 2,000 and 2,300 fps. Not that I plan to use reduced loads in the gun much. I didn't build it to sandbag on power. But I do have an 800 gr LFN mold that I'm pouring with linotype. And that brings me to my question. Do any of you have reduced loads that won't necessitate a filler? I don't have Trailboss on hand, but will get some in time. How about 5744 or SR4759? Again, the bullet weight is 800 grains. Thanks, Lee Martin www.singleactions.com | ||

I'd try 50gr -55 gr of 5744 but with a Dacron filler. You could try it without the filler too. Should do 1300-1400fps.
