Ok, here is a question, Just got my Mark X 458 and I have a Burris Compact 4x scope to sit atop it, just need a set of rings and bases, what are my best options? I am kinda partial to weaver style bases but not married to them so to speak, and will I need extension rings??? thanks in advance gabe

biff I used to have a Whitworth 458 and a 375. I used Leupold quick release mounts and rings, the ones with the throw levers. They worked well and returned to zero with no problems. Also it makes it easy to have a spare scope already sighted in for your rifle.

Buy a set of Warne premier steel rings and bases and never look back.-Rob

I like the Z rings. But QD's are great on a big rifle.
whatever you get, make sure they are windage adjustable.
