I am considering using the 400gr Nosler partition in my 416/404. It is running 2250fps muzzle velocity. Will this bullet expand reliably at 100yds?

Ditto with the Hornady 400gr RNSP? Kudude

The new Hornady .416"- 400 gr InterBond expanded well down to 1800 fps for me in tests. I have not tested the 400gr Nosler..... Sorry

The Nosler will expand at that velocity and give you a lot of penitration, as will the Woodleighs and Northforks, but not quite as violently as they do at 2400 plus..
