Howdy, MacD37. You can buy the Ruger African in .338 Winchester. It's not called the African, just Ruger Hawkeye, but it's otherwise identical to a "T". You'll find one or two on GunsAmerica or Gunbroker. Quite a bit cheaper too. I forget, but $550 - $600 is the price. There is a fine looking wood stocked specimen on Gunbroker right now at $559. There are a ton of .338 Federal on those sites, but always one or two Winnies. A plastic stock option (The All Weather) is either not available in .338 Win, or is scarce as hen's teeth.
