That's a nice one! Do you know how long it has been drying? Who will do your stock work? Have you gotten your new barrel yet for the Lott? Have you tried IMR-4320 in your load work?

" If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand which feeds you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countryman " Samuel Adams, 1772

I don't know how long it has been drying. The blank has been sent to Martini and Hagn. They will build the rifle at a good price. The new barrel for the CZ will wait a while.I still have not recovered from the rds I've shot with the Lott throughout the past months.I am in no rush to shoot and start retesting the Lott. When I order the barrel I think I'll try a faster twist.I might go with the 1-10.I did try IMR-4320 and it proved to be a good powder.I am starting to send the gunmaker pictures of stocks and rifles that I would like mine to look like.I really like the express sights that these guys do.

Hmmmmm, mighty fine 'smiths you chose! Make sure you write down your concerns about wearing out a barrel fast, etc. I'll make sure someone from AR is there to get their reaction.

OK, OK, I apologize and will only post positives from now on.
Very seriously though, excellent choice on your gunsmiths!

I was told that one thing that you see in a quality blank is a light that appears to come from within the bank.

I looked through Dressel's web site and didn't see any stock I like as well as Shootaway's.

That is only true of blanks cut from trees grown near Chernobyl.

Hey, I've seen that. Didn't know how to describe it. I was thinking of something like a 3D effect.
