Hi Jeffe,
Best of luck with your rifle and I wish I had the time to be there. I'm up to my ass in alligators. I've been so busy that I haven't been checking as often or posting as much as I would like to. I'll bet the new stocked 500 shoots as well the the rifle did with the old one. Has Mike shot his 470 yet and if so how did he like it. You'll have to post some pictures of the 500 and the 470.

I am trying to get mike to bring his out today... we finished all be the bluing and checkering... We should shoot it next week... trying for 2200fps

I am using my same cast loads, of 535gc at 2200... it's hmmmm, an eye opener!!

geoff and I are going this morning... taking the 58 double and the 500... i just did the recoil calcs... the 58 is about 45... and the jeffe is about 85....

who wants to come?

They held last time for about 300 shoots...

so, we'll see on this one, and the HUGE added recoil lug...

I'll be call Jim Wiser, to see if i can get another extractor, asap... i overtrimmed the last one!!!
