You need at least about $350 give and take for a re-chambering job. Besides re-chambering, it needs some feeding work including replacing the extractor, opening the feed ramp, etc. The factory hard rubber butt pad replacement is a must for any of the big bore cartridges. The 458 No. 1 is extremely muzzle heavy so you may also want to add a mecury suppressor in the butt stock to get a better balance of the rifle. Quote: | |||
