Gents,

While were discussing left/handed bolt guns, can a left/handed Ruger Model 77, chambered for one of the HH based rounds, be re-barreled to 375?

They make a leftie in 7mm Rem. and 300 Win. which has the correct bolt face. Not sure about the overall length for the magazine though.

Anyone done this?

It has been done, some gun rag writer did an article on one he did some time back. The question for me is why?? A LH Win M70 Classic is 10X the rifle.

Bob,

Thanks for the site.

You know the gray inside the head must be getting thinner then the gray on the outside. I have that article boxed in the garage, waiting for the moving van. I will get it out when we get relocated in Phoenix next month.

As to Ruger quality, no problem for me. All the Rugers I have work and shoot just fine.

Again, thanks.
