Got a call from MRC yesterday notifying me that my PH action will be shipped in early July. I had a hard time deciding what caliber to use in it. Finally decided on 404 Jeffery. Hope to end up with a 9 lb 404 with a classic English walnut stock. Now to decide who to have build it.

I didn't receive a call, but I noticed my credit card has been charged for the one I ordered!!!!!!!

Got the same call. Went with the Weatherby since I can always open it up to the 416 or 450 Rigby.

How long ago did you order you're action? The reason I ask is I ordered mine last week of April and they said it would be done the first week of June plus they hit my credit card today.
Just curious.

They called me and hit my card on the 26th of March!

I originaly ordered my action a year or two ago when they first floated the idea of making this action. Then they cancelled it out and I got a call in early March asking if I was still interested although they were raising the price by about $50.00 or so. I said yes and they said the my action would be shipped in early June since I was one of the first on the list. The other day I got another call asking what cartridge I wanted it set up for. They then said they were looking at a shipment date of the first actions in early July. I will be surprised if I see it before late August or early September. These things always seem to go later than sooner than expected.

Are any of you guys a lefty by chance. I ordered one of the actions and have not heard a darn thing. Even e-mailed MRC and no reply.

Pick up the phone and call them. It's easier to get a feel for whether you're being bullshitted or not.
