Now what am I missing
What is the intended use of the rifle? Makes a lot of difference as to what action to use.
What is the cartridge?
Another very important question: How much money do you intend to spend on the completed rifle?
Butch Search in CA uses the Selous South Africa magnum length mauser and adds his own magazine box. $3000 or $4000 or something like that.
Granite Mt Arms in Prescott makes a magnum length mauser action with a .750 bolt diameter. $3500

I only wanted to put together a list of action makers, not about what would be the factors in deciding which action to go with. That is where your opinion comes in to play. Also maybe this list would help others in picking a action to build a custion off of.
What I would like to find is an action that will handle the 460/.510" with military ball or the 505/.510" with military ball. I would like to find a bolt with a mag lenght to handle these rounds. The longest one I can find is the Johannsen which acording the the gun smith I talked to is 4.250" which will handle the 460/.510" if memory serves me, but I will need 4.80" or so for the 505/.510". I would like to stay away form the 50 BMG action so I will not have the extra lenght in the action during cycling. I am planning a trip to Well sports store to see what they can do, since they are only 5 hours away from me. So if you fellow big bore shooters can add any info to this post to help me or others select a action please do. Thanks RNS

I think the only option would be the Wells action if you want to pay 10 to 20 K for an action. Then it is a monster and the rifle might as well be made on a 50 BMG action, as big and heavy as it will be.
How about shortening the 585 Nyati to 2.5" and necking down to .510 caliber with a minimum neck and abrupt shoulder? You could shoot that through a Rigby sized action like the CZ 550, with a 1/2 K price tag. But the brass is for low pressure loads.
A tough problem to solve without building a monster. That is why I would prefer to just have a 500 A-Square or .510/460 WBY equivalent to make life simple. Load the long ones singly into the chamber and keep the magazine full of short ones.
