<Daddy2B8162>Help ID a 50-90 rolling block
Hi all, can anyone help me ID a 50-90 rolling block that I was given? It is a 1874 with a 31.5" barrel, the barrel is round, and above the stamping of the date is a Crown with the letter C under it. It appears that it was originally a rimfire that has been converted to center fire.
Thanks for the help Ed

The DaneDoes it have:
The number on the left side of the reciever?
The year on the right?
A brass batch or the ring after it app. 3 cm in dia. on the stock?
The pins marked "S" and "H"?
If so then it's a Swedish roller made by "Carl Gustafs Gun Factory"

PS almost forgot.
The Swede was originally chambered for a round closely resembling the american 50-70, and in order to accept a 50-90 , it had to be rechambered.
