I was just wondering how this bullet would go on donkey's and thin skinned larger game. I realise for scrub bull etc. it would blow up a little quick but it has a high BC for a .375 bullet and might be alright on most Aussie stuff.

I think the Sierra pill would treat you well in that application. I get great accuracy with it in nearly every rifle I try. Excellent BC if you're into the long stuff. I've used it on prairie dogs, coyotes, N.A. antelope, and mule deer, all with excellent results. While I have taken elk with the Sierra 300, I prefer the Nosler Partition for that application in case I'm forced to a less than ideal shot. Once you get your load worked up, try groups at 300 yards. I think you'll be pleased with the stability of the Sierra bullet at extended range. Let us know how it goes for you. Regards, ~Holmes

Yes Holmes I think I might give this bullet a go, I was thinking of the cheaper Aussie Taipans, but if that good BC has got me thinking about using my .375 as one would use a .300 win mag. I calculated that at 300 yards it would have just a tad under 3000 foot pounds of energy remaining.
