I am looking for pics of original 404 Jeffery rifles. I have all the parts ready for a build and can't find any decent original Jeffery rifles to show stock maker for inspiration. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks Jason

I think do a bit of searching, you'll find lots. try searching posts made by Alf, I seem to remember he posted some fine specimens of his original rifles.
don't just look at 404's, if you're going for traditional british stock fashion look at all traditional british rifles, the stocks are going to have the same styling. there've been some lovely pictures here of original rigby, holland etc. rifles.

I found the posts by Alf and think they would help alot. The only problem is the pictures are just red X's now. How do I view the pics or do they disapear after a while. I can view all of the current photo's on the forum just not the old ones.

I saved Alf's pictures. Gimme time, gimme time and I will slowly dig them out and repost. Most of his are on converted 1898 Moadel Mausers., done in the classic style.
