Just started to prime some Mast Bell 500 3 inch cases and oops. . .they seem a bit short.

Will a swager correct this or is there another solution?

Sounds to me like you need a primer pocket uniformer - both Sinclair and K&M make good ones. Depending on how "short" your primer pockets are, you might be in for quite a bit of "uniforming", though. At least Sinclair describes a way in which their uniformer can be used in an electric drill/screwdriver. I'm sure the same goes for the K&M.

One word of caution. I have a feeling that the uniformers also remove brass from the side of the primer pockets. In some cases, I believe this causes the primer pocket to feel a bit loose - and (maybe?) not last so long. So try 1 or 2 cases and see what that does before doing all the remainder...
