What will the AccurBond do that the Partition won't do or vice -a-versa? I have no experience with either, but used the old Partition 370 and 300 grain in H&H and .378 Wea.

Suggest you consider the North Forks or the Swift A-Frames. Either have given me better performance, results on game and accuracy. Wouldn't consider anything else now for my .375 Ack. Imp. or wife's .375 H&H. Good shooting/ Tetonka DRSS Big Bore Trash

I think the answer to your question is "nothing", in 375 cal. The beauty of the accubond comes in at long range. Look at it as a ballistic tip that holds together like a partition. I've tested some of the med calibers and the terminal performance is very similar to the partition. The ones I tested in test medium looked very similar to the ones I tested on animals.I do not believe they kill med game as quickly as the partition due to the fact that they're bonded. The front part of a partition seems to really cause alot of internal damage.

My experiences lead me to the same conclusion. I agree 100%. velocity is like a new car, always losing value. BC is like diamonds, holding value forever.

Gentlemen, I believe you might find the 375 caliber and up partition designs modified from the smaller calibers. The partition has been moved forward. Expect 80% weight retention after impact. Recent tests on the big bore forum support these conclusions. If weight retention is important to you, the NPT is a fine projectile however so are the others mentioned. I actually favor the front end blowing off. I appears to make a larger wound cavity due to a shrapnel effect in the organs. 80% weight retention is still very good! EZ

From my experience, the Accubond will probably shoot tighter groups. I have never been able to get a partition to drive tacks. But that has never mattered in the field.
