Just moving to the KC area from Tulsa and looking for a good local smith, gun shop and gun club. Any responses appreciated. Are there shops as good as Champlins in Enid, OK? | ||

Apparently can't send you a private message. Turn it on, please. KC sucks for gunsmiths, etc. The only gunsmith I know of, per se, is Simmons Gun Repair. They are terrible and expensive, but I do get the bluing done there as there is not much else to choose from, except shipping it off by mail. There are some others within a 100 miles. There is a smith in Lamar MO that builds some nice rifles nothing real fancy but good. There is a gun shop in El Dorado Springs, MO that has about anything you want. However both of these places are about a 2 hours drive from the city. | |||
