Looking for various loads to build in a .510 caliber, but want to keep the bullet weight below 500 grain.

Thus far I have located
Barnes 300 gr RN for the .50-110
Barnes 400 gr RN for the .50-110
Woodleigh 440 gr RN for the 500 BPNE
and naturally Hawk

I would prefer a RN, the flat nose or TC is not ideal for my application

What other sources can you recommend that are relatively available (with that I mean, GS Custom is nice, but can I get them before 2010?)

Thanks!

Not to nitpick Marty but I think those are 350 and 450, not 300 & 400. I load both in my 500 Linebaugh. Outside of oddball cast bullets the 350 is the lightest I know of. If you haven't seen one it is almost as round as it is tall. An irregular ball, so to speak.
On another note, have you burned up any of that electric ammo?

You're right, I was looking ascew at my notes ... pretty sad too, I am a Barnes Staff Member ...

No progress on the electric big bore, we are still trying to get caught up. Should be getting some breathing room here end of April..

No rush at all. I keep looking at the scope on the shelf and wondering what the hell I was thinking giving you a rifle with no sights....
BTW, I got my Vortex this week and am now going to some serious work with the SOCOM at the range. It's really nice; thanks for the effort.

MartytW - check out the 450 and 500 grain bullets from Alaska Bullet Works, called Kodiak bullets - they are made in Juneau, Alaska - very good quality, I use them in my 50Ak lever gun as well as cast bullets in 435 and 525 grain from Cast Performance - KMule

PC, they are 350 and 450 Barnes Originals, not X bullets. Most of the mail order houses that carry Barnes stock these or will order them.
