Does the energy do the hole bigger or what...?

Some buddy says that the hole/wound channel diameter in the animal is just the same as the bullet diameter.

And some buddy says that if you shoot a moose whit a 577 T-REX 11 000 foot pounds of energy then the hole/wound channel would be big enough to fit a pair of shoes in to the hole.

What is right does the energy press up a bigger hole than the expanded bullet diameter in the animal or what...?

Some buddy says that to much energy in a little moose would blow up the moose in pices.

What do you think guys...?

George - Unfortunately, nothing you will say can stem the flow of these meaningless questions. It is a geyser for which there is no plug.

It is the damage that the bullet does. Broad heads out of a bow kill very fast if placed in the right area. Very low energy.

Overkill,

More energy will make a bigger hole...in your wallet. For example, in a cold winter it will take more energy to heat your house and cost you more money. Or if you shoot a 460 weatherby instead of a 458 win mag to generate more energy, the ammo costs more, again making a bigger hole in your wallet.

Indeed, more energy does make a bigger hole in the wallet.

Where Overkill is involved it is strictly "or what????????" Just how many little mooses has he shot? Or are we his only target? Fess up Overkill, who are you? I have to admit, some of his questions are priceless and he hasn't called anyone an idiot yet.

Or you could just hang around and wait. Eventually the moose will die of age.

Overkill, you are my man (some buddy)!!

I have shot lots of little mooses. You have to shoot them in the arse. When you shoot them there they always go oooWWWW. The bullet goes out the mouth and leaves no hole at all and doesn't blow them up.
