Well, I finally got to take the RUM out to stretch its legs so to speak. Just as a basic setup, I was zeroed in @ 100yd. My drop @ 200 was 2", then my drop went to 12" @ 300(?). That sound about right? I was shooting the 250gr NF's with 98.2gr of RL22 behind it. I was having a hard time getting groups cause (are you ready, my vagina hurts) the wind was blowing in all directions(a cold front was coming through, and it was rainy), it was the first time I have actually shot past 100yd, and my allergies were kicking my ass?! Basically my 3 shot groups @ 300yd were something along the lines of a hair under 12".

Interesting sidenote. That place had been a 500yd range for the longest time, they had expanded to 1000 yd recently. Cool factor, they have a golf cart to go out and service your targets if shooting past 100yd. Ironically, I was able to hit a 12" gong @ 570 yd after a dozen tries, that was cool. The mildot master and using the reticle really works.

You guys getting about the same drop, or was I just having a hard time shooting? I know I can change all of that by zeroing in @ 250, or whatever, but I really didnt see the need since I doubt I will ever take a shot on game more than 200yd for right now.

What is a 250gr "NF"?

Is this a 338RUM or a 375RUM?
