More information is needed. Condition, model, sights, after market barrels or stocks?

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

they are both classic safari grade sites not sure as the 375 is scoped 458 is not. Rough estamite would be a big help they have travled to the dark con 6 TIMES THE LAST time being 1968 the first time 1950 as these have a story of hunts in Kenya and the real Africa back in the day

I had a Rem 700 in 375 safari grade which was a listed in blue book as a custom shop gun. I got it pretty cheap and sold it a few years later for about the same. It was well under 1,000 coming and going. (well under) That seems a big discount over the new price. I did not like it. But for the price, I though I would give it a try. They dont seem very popular. Yours are older, mine was probably 1970's give or take a decade.

You know you can go look in the blue book. Even if you dont want to buy one (used copies for cheap) - Most bigger dealers will keep one out on the shelf.

$500 apiece.

There is an exceedingly small market for PF rifles not stamped 'Sako AV' in these chmaberings.

These are probably the Remingtons you are referring to

http://www.remington.com/produ...ction/model-725.aspx

But they might be the earlier 721

Scroll al the way down for the different models.

Your "1950" date is too early for a 458 as the 458 was introduced about 1956.

I would tend to agree with George.

Note also that with Remington the words "custom shop" don't mean much as many Remingtons that are/were classed as "custom shop" are just less popular chamberings.
