About a year or so ago this forum was blasted apart by troll hunting. The lack of success of the hunt was and is only too obvious

This time around it will be much worse as it is both sponsored and promoted by the forum Moderator, GeorgeS.

GeorgeS's own thread "Am I forgetting anything" is now about half troll based.

Again, welcome to the Troll Forum

Mike

Mike-

You need to add Pecos45 aka Todd E to the troll list as well. Thanks!

Actually the GeorgeS and Robgunbuilder type posters form one half of the troll partnership. One can't exist without the other. The troll throws some seeds on the ground and the GeorgeS/Robgunbuilder type poster supply water and fertiliser.

Pecos45 is more like the barker at the door promoting the activity and making sure that everything bubbles along OK.

Mike, don't let your dislike for GeorgeS cloud the truth. If you two don't like each other, that's between you two and I suspect neither of you will lose much sleep over it.

You should have been around long enough to know what's what here.

Pecos,

Facts are facts. Check the troll related posts since GeorgeS started his troll alerts. Supposedly GeorgeS and Robgunbuilder are on IGNORE mode but they continue to be prolific responders to anything that is troll related.

Cole,

A troll, at least as defined on the AR Big Bore Forum, seems to be anyone that is not a friend of GeorgeS, Robgunbuilder, or their little group of "friends".

Cole, a troll is a liar and phony.....one who posts crap just to get attention and pretend he is something he is not. ScottS, i.e. Scott Sweet, is the CLASSIC example of this. He lies about everything from Africa to Alabama. You name it and he claims to have done it, owns three rifles just like it, or is about to "build one." He has claimed to have killed "more than one but less than five" of every species on the planet...all brain shots. But somehow he doesn't have a picture or a mount of anything. (Wonder why?) On those rare instances when he has posted a picture of one of his rifles, it usually turns out be a stolen photo from another website and belonging to someone else.

ScottS lives in a Walter Mitty world of fantasy and creates all sorts of "members" for his various personalities. He's obviously mentally ill. Unfortunately I think he probably DOES own two or three trashy old military rifles in poor shape and poorly maintained.

Any information he posts comes out of a book. All part of his pretend game.

Ignore the fool. I wish I could say he will go away, but he won't. He will just create a few more phony members and try it again. Some people are too dumb to teach.

Pecos,

We probably agree with the definition of a troll.

Why they have been allowed to proliferate is the double standards allowed by some of the prominent members here.

For example 700nitro is almost as big a liar as the Axel/scottSbased trolls.

RGB, george S, and all the other higher profile posters know this to be true. I set Steve/700nitro up with two posts and he was straight back to his old lies, and is still digging himself further.

I have no hard feelings towards any bullshit artist who is trying to keep people conned to save face, so good luck to you Steve.

But I do find it interesting you have the most fervent Troll burners endorsing one liars posts because he was rich enough to buy a 700 nitro double, yet starting a crusade on another(admittedly yes worse) since he could only buy a 50beowulf.

And then they wonder why the old tactics of 'proving someone a liar' are suddenly ineffective at making trolls run and hide, or at least 'break apart'.

Simply they sold their souls literally to create an atmosphere where a liar can proliferate.

The moderator himself did this.

In fact you may have noticed the whole deal of 'unmasking','proving someone a troll' or 'liar' frankly has no impact anymore.

Which is why you are only about half as effective as you used to be mate.

You can't do things by halves, although it seems to be the policy of the 'liar hater' crew.

Karl.

500grains, what you mention is exactly what ScottS has been asking for from others. Myself, I find that the scroll button on the mouse works pretty well, and allows for reading the occasional good post. It also works on ANY poster and ALL posters if needed.

This is the reason many Europeans and others around the world don't bother to post here. It is just another affirmation of the "Ugly American" syndrome.

In this case it would be the 'Ugly Australian Syndrome', don't you think?

As I have stated in the past, I don't usually post on these numb nuts threads, but this one sets me off. Mike 375, Mauser, and ScottS, did your Mother drop you on your heads when you were babies? Look at things as they are, not as your personality dictates.

Bob,

What did I do to you. If you think I am trolling, I serious suggest you learn to read! I have NOT been trolling. Mike and Mauser have been doing that quite well.

If you think I know not of what I speak, well I know I have been there and done that, so I suggest that we either compare notes, or you question your information, not mine. By the way, the reason for forums like this one, as I understand it, is to individuals to get together and compare notes. That is why I post here. Why do you?

Scott

Karl, in the case of Scott Sweet, aka Todd E, aka Judy, etc and currently "Mauser," I've never really had any illusions that he would ever leave. I know far more about this fool than I've let on.

The internet provides a unique place where people from all over the world can meet and share experiences and knowledge. This is the great wonder of it all. Unfortunately it is also a shadow land where liars and frauds and fools can practice their trade. With a few books and half a brain they can even sound fairly convincing if no one looks too closely. (Enter Scott Sweet)

I hate his type with a passion. Ironically this makes me about as disruptive as they are. I know this and it makes me very disgusted with myself.

What amazes me is it's all so unnecessary, except for those whose egos and self-images are so frail that they must pretend to be something special in a world where they never were and know they never will be. (Enter Scott Sweet)

I've never hunted Africa.......but I can go to the Africa forum and ask intelligent questions and enjoy myself and be respected. No one cares that I've never even seen a dik dik, much less shot one.

I've never hunted Canada...but the same applies. In fact, several fine Canadian fellows have promised me good hunts and the royal treatment if I'll just drag my moth eaten old ass across the border.

Same for Alaska.

I'm really just an old worn out creature of southwest America. I've spent 75% of my hunting life in combat with varmits of the southwest. My greatest accomplishment was simply being born in a good place at a great time and surrounded by wonderful people willing to help me and share their guns and equipment and experiences.

But that's enough to go anywhere on this whole website and be treated with respect and consideration. All I have to do is be real. People respect real. Some folks never learn this.

I wish everyone could be real. The real me has no fight with anyone. No nation. No people. And that's about all I ask in return. I don't like to be picked on. I don't like my nation or my people attacked and ridiculed. And I don't suffer fools and frauds gladly.

If all of us could be real...if all of us could shut our mouths and think about life and the world from the other guys shoes for a minute...if all of us could try to learn or help instead of impress or dazzle someone with bullshit......damn what a fine place indeed this could be.

There's so much knowledge here and on all the forums that it's really a shame to waste it and piss it away on stupidity. But stupidity is all some have to offer. And the internet being the internet, I doubt there is a cure for it.

I haven't tried the ignore feature on AR yet...but I am sorely tempted. I know my blood pressure would be lowered if I did.

What a crazy world we live in when the "Ignore Button" may prove to be the greatest invention of the 21st century.

I remember reading a book in which the opressed futuristic population had a saying "Don't say damn take a gram". They popped a pill anytime something upset them.

700nitro,
I must commend you that you do not use the ignore button. As 8mm pointed out, using the scroll button is just as easy for you to avoid a swarm of your own lies

500gns,
Am I on your ignore list mate?

This is your problem in a nutshell, ScottS...you have NOT been there and done shit! And the more crap you talk and the more you try to impress people, the more it shows in every stupid thing you write. You don't know your ass from a hole in the ground...and if the pictures of your 50 Beowolf are any example, your few guns are poorly maintained junk. Clean that filthy son of a bitch. You DO know what a cleaning kit is don't you?

You don't even know that *I* am not Scott! Whatever information you *think* you have about him & I -- post it, @sshole, or shut the bloody hell up and let the good folks of this forum post in peace.

I don't blame you entirely for this, as GeorgeS asked for it, by posting half-truths, and out right, blatant lies. At present, this is my only comment here, you got something little man, you bring it on. Otherwise -- bugger off. Follow?

What about your admission that you ARE Judy, Scott?

Quote:

My only lies have been very obvious ones. How about, I am a college student majoring in early childhood development. . . LIE. Another, even more obvious bit of stupidity, I am a women trapped in a man's body, but I am going to get a sex change operation to remedy this...ScottS

What about Matt Normans comments on how you came to the luncheon this year, (since Matt was buying) and while there admitted you were all these fools and try to explain them away.

You've told so many lies as so many different "members" Scott that you don't really have a clue what you've said. Unfortunately some of us have better memories than you. Follow?

What are you blathering about now? Better memories? Matt said he would pay for lunch for the person who traveled the furthest distance. As it turned out, Mike Smith bought lunch for everyone. It was all posted in the forum. Whose memory is good, & whose is bad? BTW, Scott thanked him for lunch, and I must go now and thank Scott for cooking brunch.

Oh, and once again, where IS your 'INFO' that you have garnered on my family, little man? Still waiting. . .
