Just thought I would move us out of hijacking productive posts, and post the pictures I found on the internet of ToadE and his famous Ruger 500AHR lever action, originally in 405 winchester or 416 rigby, as he doesn't remember

While it doesn't show a muzzle end picture, with calipers or some other fool proof method of measurement, I am pretty certain we'll all know this to be a 6.5mm

 -

Sorry to offend anyone, other than ToadE, but since he posts that he's got every thing in the book, I figured it was fair.

Jeffeosso,

I'll sure try to ignore that #8710 guy. It may be hard though, we 41 year old ghost are easily riled up! I hate Carcano rifles, BTW.

This is one time I'm going to agree with you Todd. The 6.5 Carcano would be WAY too much gun for you to start with.

Let's keep you shooting those .22 shorts for a little longer before we take the training wheels off and move you up to a high velocity long rifle. [Cool]

To the contrary guys. If you believe what the gubment says about what happened, the 6.5 Carcano is undoubtedly the most accurate rilfe/ cartridge produced in the history of modern firearms, and the gent in the picture is undoubtedly the best shot in the world. - wink, wink, nudge, nudge,

I just wanted to preserve this before our resident liar tries to change the facts AGAIN.
Sorry for the post.
