I'll start by saying hello. I was refered to this site by someone at Sixgunner.com when I asked about stopping rifles and who makes good ones. I would have come here sooner if I knew the forum for that topic was here.
My first question is simply: is A-Square still in business?
Heard out of business, then back in, don't know how to find info on them. I live in Georgia, hardly any one around here has even heard of them.

I believe that A-Square is under new ownership/management but is still around. You can look at their website here .

I certainly appreciate the info. I have been looking for info on them for a few years now. Unfortunately, the news I found there was disappointing: they don't make the Ceasar (lefty) in the .577 Tyrannosaur. Any one know who does make a left handed bolt rifle in that chambering? Or an equivalent, perhaps a .600 NE?

Champlin Arms has one of their magnum actions in left hand available but I do not think it would hold the rounds yuou are talking about. You can see it here . Cabelas has a Caesar in .495 A-Square you can see here. They also have a Searcy-converted left hand Rem 700 in 375 which is controlled-round feed which you can see here. I'm not sure where you can find a left-hand action for the T-Rex or 600 Nitro, but someone else here may know.

I do not know if you would like to spend the money for a custom rifle, but I know for sure that you will get want you want from Mr. Ritterbusch. You can find his webside under: www.jagdgewehre-ritterbusch.de/eng/frame.htm.
He builds me a .585 Nyati on his supermagnum action a couple of years ago and this action can also handle the .577 Tyrannosaur, because it is big enough ( bolt diameter .788" ). I did not consider this cartridge for this action because I have a A-Square Hannibal for it. He is building 4 different actions small, standard, magnum and super magnum and the complete line is also build as true left hand version.

I have never had a custom built weapon. Went to that website, those rifles are beautiful. How much trouble is it for some one in America to order a custom rifle from Germany and have it built & shipped? Or is there more to it than that? I have been shooting for over 20 years, but this is new to me.
Also, does Mr. Rittebusch have a catalog or price list?

As far as I know he did not have a pricelist but he has a catalog - or at least in formertimes he has one. Send Mr. Ritterbusch a mail, ask for a quote and he will answer your questions.
But bear in mind that his rifles are unique and handmade in each detail - so prepare yourself they are not cheap!
On mine he build me a five round magazine for the .585 Nyati - so beleave me he will fullfill any possible custom item.

Watched it again for old times sake and it was as funny as ever. Most impressive were the squawking, gasping laughter in the background (Who was that? Did he laugh himself to death?) and how fast Doctor Walter ran in to assess the damage done to Sir William the Willing, by the "flying rifle."

I have seen some of the videos, they are hilarious. I have been wanting an A-Square in that caliber, but I guess A-Square feels left handers are not worthy. Oh well, the search continues. I will look into the other videos. Thanks.

These videos were some of the funniest things I've seen yet. My son and I were laughing so hard we couldn't catch our breath. I have a .500 NE and that T-Rex's recoil makes it's recoil look like a 30-06. Great stuff !!
