Here's a couple pics of these rounds
50 BMG case, 585 nyati with 750gr woodleigh, 416 rem with 400 gr hornady sp, 416 tayor with 400 gr FMJ hornady, 376 steyr with 235gr speer, and 257 jls with molycoated 100 grn sierra gameking.

That Nyati looks like it has been in the magazine for a few shots. Is that a distortion in the pic or does the neck seem to have wrinkles in it?

it's a benchbetty, and might have been the first one I did... it's a FUBAR CULL and I was mucking about on my bench this evening.

Jeffo what is the rim diameter of the .50 BMG, is it much more than the Gibb's .640 Rim ??

MUCH larger.. something like .810, if i remember.

Pretty well the McMillan and others like it are the only actions for this baby then, I wonder if one could rebate the rim and fit it on a granite arms action with it's .750 bolt diamter ??

Just the McMillan action does not look as sporting like as the big mauser varients IMHO.
