Can anyone recommend a gunsmith that has experience with the Ruger M77 RSM Mark II .375 H&H?

Roger Ferrell in Fayetteville, GA worked my 416 over a couple months ago. Full bedding, action slicked up, checked feeding, replaced front sight bead, filled rear sight post with white, reworked the trigger and retimed the safety accordingly, and installed a red decelerator. Whew, I think that's all, oh, a second cross bolt. There's also Mark Penrod who has a good reputation as an excellent smith. I hear a lot about Dennis Olson, I believe, that's supposed to be top notch. There are several good smiths out there and you'll get lots of good info. here. Expect a minimum of 3 months turn around from one of the better smiths. David

X2 Interesting what Roger did on your .416. I had similar things done to my .416 RSM by another gunsmith before I discovered Roger. I did not think to put in a second crossbolt. I did add a Vais brake and the people in Africa didn't complain. .............................................
