Does anyone know where to find the case specifications for the .375 Blaser? I looked all over and while I can find information about the cartridges on the Blaser web site, I can't find anything that gives the case dimensions.

Ammunition and brass comes from Norma. Original reamers came from Pacific Tool & die, and are also available from Triebel.

Externally based on the .404J case - if you section the brass you will find that the case head is more than 1mm thicker than .404 (same case head thickness a the WSM's). In theory you could fire form .404 cases to make any of the Blaser magnum family, but...case head will be weaker and case volume greater than in factory ammo.

The .375 Blaser case is nominally 2.8" long.

Sounds like a kissing cousin to the .375 Dakota.

Surestrike- had a client with one- case is longer than Dakota..(2,8" instead of 2,6"), but retains original .404 rim. Factory pressures are quite low and performance is about 100fps faster than a .375 H&H with 300grn bullets.

Here are some details of our 375/404, taken from a fired, resized case.

Length = 2.820"
Neck = 0.375"
Body length = 2.320"
Diameter at base = 0.542"
Diameter below the shoulder = 0.530"

Unfortuantely (for Blazer) ATK own the name 'Blazer' in the USA so they may not sell any ammunition pakaged in Blaser boxes in the USA . If you own a blaser rifle in the USA chambered for one of their proprietary cartriges you can only buy Norma brand ammuntion which at present is loaded with the Oryx bullet. This is a fairly soft bonded core bullet - great for lion...not up to buff.

In Europe Blaser brand ammunition is availabel with Barnes TSX, TTSX and Nosler accubond bullets - depending on caliber.

Why dont they take it up in the african PH line of ammo, with better bullets?
