I cut the one standing on the quarter rib off to leave a clean receiver and sight picture so I can use my peep sight without obstruction, I still have the two down blades file sighted at 100 and 200 yards. The receiver sight (peep) is sighted 2" high at 100 yds. I use these in conjunction with Talley QD rings and bases...I like the Talley slip on peep about as well as any...I carry it in a pocket on my cartridge belt.

PC , a Lyman 48 , or any other receiver type peep sight would be mounted over the rear bridge and wouldn't have anything to do with a quarter rib............have never seen one of the peeps that used to mount to the cocking piece........the receiver mount would offer superior accuracy in my view , while still being close enough to the eye to make for a very fast sight ..........
