The 10.75x68 is a quite long case on a more or less 30-06 type case..It is so long that you cannot rechamber it without setting the barrel back to any other caliber except the 404 Jeffery's and that is really tricky, in fact I know of several nice 10.75 s that were ruined this way..

I wish Hornady would jump on this bandwagon, its such a damn nice caliber for a light weight rifle or carbine that doesn't loosen the molars every time you shoot it, yet it kills buffalo as well as any caliber I have use on them.

Dieter Horneber has just finish a new run of 10,75x68 cases. I received my batch of 350 cases yesterday - so I think the above rumor is without substance.
