Got another scope mount for my 375 H&H barrel. Mounted a Leupy 1.75X6 and took the M03 to the range this morning.

The cluster near the bull's eye is the result of 4 different bullets from two separate barrels and 2 separate scopes. All moderate pig rounds for me. 50 yards off the bench over Chrony.

Bullets were-
375 H&H
Sierra 200 grain flat points
Nosler 260 grain Accubonds
404 Jeffery
300 grain Hawks
380 grain gas checked Bear Tooth Bullets.

This rifle is Fun!

I called Tip Burns while I was at the range and told him I was upset that I couldn't send the rifle back to him to make it shoot better! It shot great!

He told me that if I wanted to, send it back he could find a "beater" rifle to put the barrel in a vise and then I could send it back to him to fix! Big Grin animal Naw!

Well that pretty much closes the deal for me.

I see a M03 in my future.

That's a beautiful set of rifles you own

The target above I used 44 grains of 5744 for both the 300 grain hawk and 380 Bear-tooth bullets. Velocity around 2050 for the Hawks and 1990 for the BT bullets.
