You should try some of my 900 gr Copper cup point .620 bore rider bullets with your wads. You dont need the bore rider section, but the .620's are available now. You'll get better straight line penetration and some expansion. If you want em .629, that could be easily arranged. Chuck some of those out of a 3.5 inch case and it might be pretty nasty. -Rob

buckeyeshooter,
Yes, we are considering making 10ga. slugs, also 20ga. and .410bore but not in the immediate future.

Rob,
I'm sure your Copper cup slugs work very good.
We decided to go with brass since it machines easier and higher slug hardness is not a factor because they are used in a sabot.

Yes, brass machines easier than copper unless you know the secrets. The issue is copper expands unlike brass and with the right nose punch will open like an X bullet. Its easy to get 1" expansion. Even at 1750fps a copper bullet in a 12GaFH is a formidable killer. -Rob

We have designed a shotgun slug that will offer both expansion and penetration, meaning that it will expand like a soft nose slug at entrance and after reaching full expansion it will not stop but continue to penetrate like a solid.
We are at the final stages of testing and I suppose it will be ready in the next few months.
Initially it will be offered for the 12ga. 3" shell, smoothbore shotguns.
It will also be offered in rifle and handgun bullets sometime later.

I'm looking forward to trying out a few (12 Gauge 3") myself, as the " CA Fishing Game " has banned the use of " Bullets containg Lead " in some portions of " CA " ( Condor Range ).

Since my hunting partner and I are making "poor man's double rifles" or paradox shotguns, this slug might be an answer for things going beyond what our lead slugs do. Will these slugs be available in the U.S. within the next year?

Lefteris. I want to test them. Could you sell me
a box of 570 gr and mixed box of 15- 700 gr
and 10- 970gr. Hope they aren't too expensive. I'll
test and inform the 12GA FH fans on 55 forums
about them.THe guys on the shotgun slug forums
will go crazy over this design, and many want
to reload saboted slugs, instead of buying
expensive factory offerings.Ed

PAPI, prof242,
We are talking with a U.S. company about the importation of the US-S slugs in U.S.A. I will let you know when we' ll have a confirmed answer.
We are also looking for importers-distributors in other countries.
So far, two wild boars have been killed with the US-S 570, here in Greece. Both one shoot kills, one in the head, the other a body shot. Instant kills, no running. Complete penetration, slugs did not recovered.
Ed,
Plese, check your e-mails.
