Gentlemen

In Australia I've been informed of a very limited run of Remington 375 H&H rifles coming out in the basic SPS format (NOT the XCR)

The price I've been told is very cheap infact in Australia they are going to be cheaper than a standard 3006 Ruger Hawkeye and nearly 1/2 the price of the Remington 375H&H XCR

Have you guys in the USA heard of this special deal?

regards

S&F,
It was meant to be a limited run for one of the US distributors but I can't remember which one. I'm simply amazed we're seeing limited numbers of it in Australia.

Remington should pull its finger out of its collective arse and work out that this rifle is the best way to combat/pick-up 375Ruger sales. Many would argue that PF vs CRF isn't worth $700 extra for a 375Ruger locally ... I certainly would buy one if I had cash handy!
Cheers...

Dave

Last I heard, the Australian importer was allocated the massive sum of only 25 guns, country wide

wha who, big deal

I rang my local gunshop today and asked them to get me 2 of them...... if they can get them at all, One for each of my boys when they turn 16. I'm sure with a boyds laminate and a good bedding job they'd be fine start up, big bores

Bud's Gun shop.com is the only place I've seen them in the USA. At that price I'm not sure why I haven't bought one yet.

Heck if I didn't pick up new CZ550 FS 9,3x62 for $500 few months ago I would certainly get this one. These Remis are nice handy rifles and the price can't be beat. Hey, uno of 500 is kinda cool too. Cool

Those SPS guns are very nice, was strongly considering one myself in a different caliber for a beater. I'd love to see Remington do .375 H&H, .375 RUM, and .416 Rem on the basic SPS rifle, plain rifles designed to take game with no fuss.

I have been told the one's coming to Australia have a 26" barrel with no open sights and do not have any special markings and are in a plain black synthetic stock.

Still will be a nice rifle for the price though.
