Is there anything out there for the .416 Ruger in a factory loading except the Hornady loads?

Thanks.

My pleasure Charles.

Good to return a favor on AR.

Biebs gave us all a heads up on a Nosler ammo sale this past week.

I stocked up! beer

DoubleTap done good for non-handloaders although the .416 Ruger is a handloading proposition for me. I load the 300gr TSX a bit faster at about 2650 fps muzzle speed from my 20" barrel .416 Ruger Alaskan.

A .416 300gr TSX recovered from big Bull Moose. Impact speed was about 2400 fps. 1 shot dead right there. Hit the deck so hard it bounced.

Thanks. I was toying with taking it for buff instead of a .458, but I am unsure about the Hornady loads. The Double Tap seem to be either lighter or heavier than I expected, since the 400-grain load seems the sweet spot for velocity and penetration.

I can order some Hornady and see how it shoots, then order some custom loads if I decide on it.
