They LOOK like the same sling. The NECG only states 1", if you have a Merkel it takes 3/4". They are the same I have that I used to buy from Cabelas for $29 I think. I prefer them to all other slings. When they get dirty just wash them. Jeff's Outfitters has basically the same sling but it has a leather covered buckle rather than the brass keeper. I prefer the brass keeper but that's just a personal choice. I think Westley Richards has basically the same sling for more money,of course.
