I am right handed but shoot left handed because of my eyes. I have never had any problem with the safety location on a right handed M70 or M700 action. In fact it is so well located for me to shoot southpaw that I wonder why you right handed guys haven't moved them in the past.

Is this recent? I didn't notice you shooting left handed when you hosted the BB Shoot in 2010.
