Does any one have a idea what a Whitworth 375 NIB is worth?

To me about $800, but some that were not NIB have recently sold for more on the auction sites, supposedly in tandem with Winchester M70s and the recent CZ & Ruger price hikes.

I like the whitworths, if it is a wood stocked, express sighted, with a nice stock. So, if it is a whitworth express, it's a can be a nice rifle.. if it's "just" a whitworth, in 375, it may as well be a charles daly, to me.

To the 'enthusiast" (or anal nut case, depending on your view), there are at least three iterations of Whitworth with slightly different values. First are the early models with the castle crest and soldered sights. Best in terms of fit and finish. These all have the trigger guard bow release. Second are the same gun with screwed on sights. Sometimes a little less well fitted and the last version has the shotgun style safety and screwed-on sights.
I suppose the difference in value depends on just how anal the buyer is. I would probably pay $800 for any NIB of the early guns but I would just as soon get one of the Chas Dalys at CDNN for $569 as I would pay $800 for the last style of Whitworth.

While I agree with the price of around $800 as to what it is worth to me. From what I have seen over the last several months the going price is a couple hundred higher.

As usual just my $.02

I looked seriously at several of these this winter/spring and found prices were rising closer to $1K.

Cheapest I ever saw one was $550.00 at a gun show.I did'nt buy it since I already had 2 others.Been kicking myself ever since. As a rule they seem to generate between $750.00-$850.00 from what I've seen.

I must still have the record for the cheapest Whitworths. I have two .375's, paid $375 for one and $235 for the other one for a grand total of $710. The $235 was 25 years ago, the $375 5 years ago. I like them a lot.

I just bid on one with a 1.75-5 Redfield scope on it for 1000.00
It had beautiful wood and was the express rifle type Interarms
Mauser rifle. 24 inch barrel with barrel band sling swivel. Nice gun wished I had been successful in getting it instead of the more expensive Ruger Safari rifle I ended up with.
