My lone Saturday employee brought in a gun of his tdoay and was wondering why it would not function (needless to say it was operator error) I was however perplexed as to what it is. For those of you that are familiar with what a Krieghoff Double looks like, it had the same big tall safety except with a tiny push button forward of the ridge of the top of the safety. It is chambered in 9.3X74R but he says the maker is Blessen or Bliesen or something B--sen Any ideas, like did Krieghoff discontinue this little button feature or is there another maker with a large tang safety like theirs? -Spencer

More than a safety actually, it cocks the firing system when pushed forward. The button serves to bring back the "safety" and decock the rifle. Several German manufacturers (Heym, Blaser, etc.) use the same or similar system. A very safe system BTW, as the weapon may be carried fully loaded AND uncocked. André DRSS --------- 3 shots do not make a group, they show a point of aim or impact. 5 shots are a group.
