Excellent photos, Gerhard! Thank you for sharing them. Anyone have any idea what make those nice leather cartridge belts are with the thinner closure belt attached to the thicker base seen in most of the pictures? (The first shooter in the orange vest, and the bearded gentleman with "JACO" on his shirt are wearing them)

I have not really counted but I would guess that 7/10 rifles are either scoped or has a red dot.

Lots of interesting things to take away from those pics.
I tried to see what each shooter was using by action and firearm.
As already noted, most were using scopes.
I found it really interesting watching to see how most held their firearms while reloading between rounds. Some chose to totally dismount, while others leave it mounted high. I assume there was a time factor involved with the three shots?

Jimmy

The shoot is scored with a formula that takes into account hits, time and kinetic energy.
Thus 8 hits with a 500 in the same time as a 375 scores higher.
Usually the round starts with an empty rifle, it may require movement between shooting positions and some targets are moving or rotating.

If properly set up both tend to be faster at getting good hits then open sights

Looks fun. Can anyone supply the scoring formula? I keep trying to come up with a way to effectively score different calibers.
