lawndartGood News for 416 Rem Mag lovers!
416 Rem Mag brass will be available in about three weeks, in quantity, from a quality source. It will
not be going out of production after that point.
I believe the quality will be noticeably better than what Remington has been putting out as of late.
That is all.

analog_peninsulaMany times the original source will prefer not to make an official announcement until actual shipping takes place in order to avoid the public embarrassment of last minute glitches; it's a sensible practice for the real world.

lawndartAnalog is correct.
I just do not want anyone to get gouged on brass of indifferent quality when some good stuff is just around the corner.
My take home message is that Remington was a bit irresponsible. They do not sell 416 Rem Mag rifles (wonder why

), but Sauer, Blaser, Steyr, Winchester, Johannsen, Echols, Holland & Holland, Weibe and many other custom/bespoke rifle makers do.
The brass is in full production right now. The Quality Assurance and calibration of inspection fixtures and tools always takes a few weeks at the start up of a productioon line.
This stuff is definitely a cut or three above Remington's product.

Frank BellerGood ..... I just bought a new Blaser .416 Rem at the DSC show. But, I've already accumulated about 100 rounds of brass at premium prices. Just my luck ...... however, this is another opportunity for someone to grab all the new stuff that's being produced & create more shortages like the mess with the primers. Oh well, at least there's brass.

I know I bought two thousand Federal 215M primers on gunbroker for $80 (probably a lifetime supply for my 500 Jeffery) and ever since Cabelas has been notifying me "We've got your primers in!"

jro45What Sourse is going to have the brass. Is it Midway?
I wish the Source would consider doing a run of 10.75x68 brass
