The orgiinal "sweaty Teddy" found out about the limitations of the .405. He called it a "fine lion caliber" and left it at that. Charlie

It would be a fine rifle for hunting pigs in Texas and Florida, or black bear and cougar with dogs. Personally I would prefer something more traditional like a .500 BPE, especially in a hammer gun. But that's just personal preference.
