What presses do you folks like for handling the larger rounds? My 20+ year old Pacific 00-7 press is working pretty hard on .338 Lapua and .416 Rigby brass so I am looking at upgrading to something beefier. Ultramag, CO-AX, Rockchucker or others???? Any advice is appreciated!

I have a Redding Ultramag and am completely satisfied with it. Full length sizing .416 Rigby is effortless, and a loaded round doesn't have to be tipped out of the sizing die like it would when using my rockchucker. I don't think that there is a sporting cartridge you couldn't load with it.

The RCBS Ammomaster has a window that will easily handle the 50 BMG.That's what I use and have no complaints.

I also went to the RCBA AM for my 45-110. It now handles all of my rifle loading. This press is designed for the 50BMG & easily sizes .458Lott & sim. carts. The price is also right. The only thing I would like to have seen is a better spent primer recovery. The small plastic container moves around & needs to be modified to catch the spent primers, but a good press for the money.

I have 3 presses that will handle about anything. The RCBS AmmoMaster, Corbin Mega Mite and Bonanza CO-AX. The Bonanza is my favorite and handles the .416 Rigby and any of the long black powder cartridges with ease. The adjustable shell plate of the Bonanza, will not accept some of the Nitro Express cartridges however, hence my reason for also owning the AmmoMaster. Tony ------------------
