Hi all, I am getting tired of seeing that Troll Alert post on top in this forum and wonder if it can be moved to somewhere else. I don't mind its existance but not on top of the Big Bore forum. Please move it to the bottom of the forum or put it on the front page somewhere. Anyone please send the Administrator an email to make a request to move it somewhere else. Thank you! | ||

GeorgeS likes to make it known to one and all that he is a moderator. However, unlike HuntAmerican he is not allowed to edit or delete threads. So his only choice is to put his name up in lights and use his moderator power to keep the post at the top. But one would think he would at least keep the contents of his posting up to date  But then again since it is only there to have his name up in lights as a moderator there is no need to keep it up to date  Mike | |||

Mike and Scott- I have nothing against GeorgeS and I careless what he does on this site but I just perfer not to see that stupid Troll Alert post every time I log into the Big Bore forum. Trolls travel thru many forums here on this site so it makes sense to put the Troll Alert on the front page instead of just here in Big Bore. | |||

Mike, Would I be correct in assuming that Rob has just logged onto a thread where he can't actually see anything? Okayyyy.... I haven't tried this ignore function but I assume it just brings up the username and no post? I think this maybe the problem. When the new software comes out in a couple of years the ignore function should be made to also change the username. maybe just to 'Anonymous'. Since Saeed has set the site rules to everyone has to repsond to your posts, especially if they dont want to, the new function will allow them to ignore you without knowingly breaking the 'MUST POST' rule. There is always the chance that the hardcore IGNORERS will want to take sneak peaks though. But hopefully the more 'casual ignorers' will be able to respect their ignore function and avoid posting in return. We could stop maybe 25-30% of the ignorers from relapsing. with further developements in the future the site may even achieve 100% total ignorance. Karl. | |||

Karl, Just recently I suggested to Robgunbuilder and other IGNORERS to check with Saeed or Don to see if there were technical difficulties with the IGNORE feature By the way, based on what NitroX has said I think the block out must be like frosted glass, that is, you can make out a posting if you look hard. Do you remember how Nitro said he turned of the IGNORE when he sees certain postings Although Robgunbuilder said the other day he works out what the posting said from what other posters have posted. Mike Like you, I have specific interests and post on those when they come up on the Big Bore Forum. Unfortunately, for me, they seem to come up less and less. Unlike Rob and Jeffe I enjoy the Trolls and all the goings on with them so I am attracted to those threads. I also enjoy your post for the most part and enjoy the controversy as it brings out both the best and the worst on the forum. By the way, I do agree that there are too many forums and feel I miss allot here by not being able to read that many. I stick to 4-5 and just never get to or think about the others. But that is a topic for the African Forum. | |||

But what is interesting is the big bore wildcats are discussed in Big Bores rather than the Wildcat forum. It all starts at 375 bore. Whether it is a 378 Wby Crown Custom or an H&H made 375 H&H (bolt or flanged) they are all wonderful. Mike | |||

Karl, Mickey admits to enjoying looking at the car accident. His only problem is that his view is obstructed by the people in front of him that hate looking at car accidents By the way, you should forgive NitroX as sometimes a bit of upper class cork sniffing etc. gets in his way when it comes to reading And welcome to the GeorgeS Troll Centre I hear that GeorgeS has bet that he can fuck up AR Big Bores forum quicker than he did HA's African Hunting forum. I don't think he can win that bet. Some people have also said that Saeed thinks there should be a reduction in the number of forums and the appropriate moderators have been appointed....due to their natural ability ....although Saeed probably went "over obvious" with 700 Nitro and Muzzle Loading. I feel like a Voyeur on this thread. I feel like I have snuck into a house where the homeowners (ScottS and Mauser) are having an argument and are completly oblivious to any one else around. They, he, just go on, back and forth while the world whirls bye around them. Very surrealistic. Mickey, I can understand how you would feel like a Voyeur but Robgunbuilder is on this thread but I think I have cured him of responding to troll threads!! There is no way in my opinion he will respond again to a troll thread. Now GeorgeS possibly can't be helped. Robgunbuilder just hates trolls whereas with GeorgeS he can't stand things that are not orderly, neat and with plenty of decorum so he is driven to step in....well...he is a born moderator!!
