did any of you get the update letter from Montana Rifle Company today? Jeff Sipe detailed the issues they have had the last twelve months or so, and how those issues have been eliminated, NOT! fixed or repaired. The letter says they are in the final stages of proofing the initial batch of CM receivers, and are hoping to ship them shortly. The letter is a realistic rundown of the problems that most, if not all small companies endure at start up. I believe him/the company, and the wait will be well worth it. regards, Rich Buff Killer

I received a letter as well. Granted I, like everyone else, would have liked to have my actions years ago but I would rather have them right instead of dealing with getting them fixed.

Are these the long PH receivers that his site says they are working on?

Haven’t received a letter yet… Thanks for the heads up though… I haven’t been waiting as long as some others on here but over a year now… Glad they are being up front about start up problems… Have to agree with above post rather have them “right” than “right now”… Matt V. ______________________ Sometimes there is no spring... I received my letter yesterday evening. ____________________________________________ "Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life." Terry Pratchett.

Got my letter today, from Kalispell Montana all the way down here to Cut-n-Shoot in three days according to the postmark. I think that was very professional of the company to keep us informed. I'm very confident the "PH" action will be the best deal and of great quality in magnum size sporting actions. Rodney.

Me too. I can't wait to get a 505 Gibbs built. I already have a really nice hunk of wood waiting to be carved into a stock.
