APB.500J Brass
I would appreciate any help in directing me to some quality brass for the .500 Jefferys.
Some time ago I saw some DWM? brand brass which seemed good quality.
I bought some Bertram brass here in Australia but it leaves a lot to be desired being almost like the old .45LC "balloon head" style internally at the base.

DPhillipsDieter Horneber makes high quality 500 Jeff brass.
Sorry I don't have an Aussie distributer, but Huntington's carries it here in the U.S. You might check to see what their shipping costs are.

GadgeDon't think there is an Oz distributor for Horneber. You could contact them direct from their
website.
It may be easier to order direct, rather than via a US dealer, due to the US export license requirement [takes min. 30 days to get].
And you also need an Oz Customs B709A Import Permit, which may mean that Huntington's won't accept the order. See their
ordering info.

jeffeossoBB 500 jeffe brass will take about 7-10 MILD loads before every neck splits..
HDS works forever, if annealed, with the same loads.
BB you can have for what, $1.83oz?

GadgeHDS=Huntington Die Specialties. It's their house brand, and .500J is not listed as an available flavour, at this time. If Jeffe had some HDS headstamped brass, I'd say it was probably made by Horneber.
