I've a wild idea to have a custom 9.3x62 built, after seeing Osa Johnson's rifle in the African hunting forum. I just about died when I saw pictures of that (the rifle, but Osa was pretty hot too!)

Not a safe queen, but blued with decent wood and something that will probably see a lot of field action.

Would a Montana PH action be appropriate for something like this?

You wanted a standard action for the 9.3x62, that is a big part of the allure.

And no the PH action is not available yet even though they charged me 13 months ago.....
