Hello,
Need good source for gas checked lead bullets for the 458 Win Mag. Be shooting in Lott, but will down load accordingly. Thanks

Mt Baldy Bullets has several options for a .458 gas checked bullet from 300-550 gns. The lube they use will standup to full power loads. So you can have some light recoiling plinking loads or load them up to your jacketed velocity for practice if you want.
The cast loads for my 470 take 2gns less RL-15 to get the same velocity as solids or the Barnes XLC.

Yup ... I like your Carnauba Red lube too.

It takes three patches to clear a bore down to bright after shooting cast bullets lubed with Carnauba Red in a .458 AR or Lott.

Is better than anything else I've used.
