I have been bitten by the double rifle bug recently, and have decided to clean out some rifles to fund this desire. I have two Winchesters that I am thinking of selling one in 375 and 458. The 458 is new with the tag still on it. I have seen prices on this type recently, so I have a good idea on value. The 375 was given to me as a gift, so I have no idea on value. I have seen pictures of the same rifle on here from time to time. The one I have is the stainless custom shop model with inletted swivel mounts, and pretty light colored wood. Any help on value of this gun would be appreciated. Thanks for the help, and wish me luck on the double.

Kevin, Is your .375 a Custom Express? You can tell by the box or the rifle itself. The box end flap will read "WIN 70 CUSTOM EXP .375 MAG" and "Custom Express S.S. Special Build." If you don't have the box, the rifle will have a 24 inch stainless steel barrel and a stainless steel CRF action with engine turned bolt. The stock will be extra fancy checkered Circassian walnut with engraved stainless steel double cross bolts, a stainless steel grip cap, inletted stainless steel sling swivels and 1" red Winchester recoil pad. If you have one of these, IMHO, it is worth somewhere around $2,500 (in excellent shape) or $3,000 (if mint) in today's market. These are beautiful, well made rifles, and were limited edition items. I have one in .416. Mike Wilderness is my cathedral, and hunting is my prayer.

Thanks for the info. That is the one I do have. I tried to get one in 416 long ago, but never could find one. I do enjoy shooting it and it shoots well. I

There is one in .416 on Gun Broker now for $3725 that is reported to be unfired. Pretty rifle, wish it was mine. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=82068446 Mike
