I bought a box of these to try out. I believe they are intended for the 458 SOCOM but I'll be pushing them a bit faster, maybe around 2500 fps or so.

I'm not hunting with them, just shooting at steel plates and making noise. If anyone has any comments on these I'd be very interested.

I've never heard of them, let us know how they shoot.

I bought them because they were cheap, about 60 cents each. If they shoot well I'll get more.

The reason I posted a question here is because they have thin jackets. Made for 45-70 velocities I guess.

IIRC they went out of business 10-15 years ago. It's been a while back.

He had me test some of them in 98-99
in my 458HE. Wanted to see if the 400gr
got out of the barrel in one piece at 3200.
They did and fairly streamlined.

Whoever you got them from, ask them if they have
.585 inch ones.Ed

That was what I was wondering; could they stand the extra pressure beyond what they were presumably designed for.

I bought them to use as inexpensive plinkers. I'll ask. If yes, I'll let you know.
